Farm Visit

Helpringham Primary School visit Abbey Park Farm, G.Simpson Butcher and The Farm Kitchen.

The School Nutrition Action group from Helpringham Primary School came to see and understand the story of their school lunches. They visited Abbey Park Farm to see some of the vegetables growing and to help pick some herbs, followed by trying their hand at sausage making at the butcher. This was followed by a trip around our kitchen at Ewerby Thorpe to show them how the meals are produced. They then had the chance to taste some of our new meals for lunch.
